NG's dead money until they get bought by NEM or ABX, IMO....plus you'll have tax loss selling weighing on 'em until the end of the year for sure.

I don't think ABX will buy them because they'd have to deal with Teck on Galore. NEM won't buy them for sure because ABX is their Donlin partner.

re tax selling, whenever I sold something in mid december for a tax loss, I always marked close to the bottom. maybe it's different this time because the losses are so much greater the pressure will stay on through EOY.

Their problem on Galore was $600 PoG and $1.50 copper if metals are in a bull market Galore will get restarted again.

given what happened getting cut in half was appropriate. however, IMHO the stock should start ascending again soon. it is dirt cheap if the gold bull is alive, even more so if energy takes a hit in the upcoming world-wide bust. BWTFDIK?
