FWIW, I didn't sell mine either (but it's not a big position for me).

I agree on tax loss selling in general. Usually by the time one pulls the trigger, sentiment is at a low and the stock is already bombed out (or at least that's my experience also).

My understanding of the Galore project is it got nixed due to costs being in loonies not clown bucks. What NG has left is all based in Alaska; costs are in dollars. This sure was an example of how the value of gold is relative to the currency controlling production. The inverse of this was late 01, early 02; holding the South African mines when the Rand tanked.
