Well, you might be right Maurice. It's possible. I, too, live my life by percentages. I don't believe ANYTHING 100%, even the (presumed) fact of my own existence.

So I agree it's possible (but not likely) that GW will turn out to be greatest hoax ever seen. And, if it was just me, I might not even care. But I've got 3 kids and I worry terribly about their future ...

And I've generally found fear-of-consensus to be more useful in the financial and cultural sphere. If the herd thinks one way universally, then it's a fair bet that money is to be made elsewhere.

And I keep forgetting that you're sitting there on the bottom of the planet. What are you worried about Maurice? Forget AIDs and GW and flu. Most likely there will be a nuclear war and most of the planet will get fizzled. But no one will bother nuking NZ. You'll then be sitting pretty in Auckland, you and 20 million sheep.
