I wonder if the poll was properly divided throughout the Fla. demographics. Reason I say that is Fla. in reality is THREE STATES. The panhandle, the middle and the south. The politics in each is very much different then the other. However the major population is in the South and I dont see Rudy's lead faltering here, at least among everyone I know. However, if I had to say the 3 I would be most comfortable with they would be Rudy, Thompson, and Romney. I am not nearly so impressed with Huck as many here seem to be. Last supposedly religious person I remember was President was CARTER and we all know what THAT MEANT. I guess I just lean toward the Andy Jackson type, and in my mind thats Rudy. jdn

latest florida poll shows rudy fell to third place. huck number one, romney number two. way back rudy thompson.

Waiting for a flight yesterday I watched CNN's Blitzer talk about how great Huckabee is as a candidate. If the liberals like him as the GOP candidate, they must believe their liberal candidate can beat him in the finale.

Huckabee is entirely too weird in his thinking for me. Federalize a no smoking ban. Make obesity an ADA claim. Limit charter schools and school choice. (NH NEA supports his candidacy.) Give an illegal's children a financial break over a legal citizen's kids for attending college. And the topper was his phoney response to his "unintended" comment about the Mormon's' belief that Jesus being the brother of the devil. This was vicious statement and a phoney apology. Disclosure: I'm not Mormon.

I still don't who I will vote for except that it won't be him.
