WTF? Try 2002 to 2004.


Maybe in the OC but not in most of the rest of the country. And just for the record, the bubble occurred mainly in these places:

the OC, LA, Phoenix, Las Vegas and Florida. Other markets were either fine, somewhat overheated, or distressed economically.
