Hi Frank -

Many have voiced the opinion that the sub-prime mess won't really matter to global corporations, and that it will be "business as usual".

Intel, STMicro feel ill effects of sub-prime mess

"... Back in May, the pair announced plans to set up a joint flash memory venture, named Numonyx, on the basis of a $1.3 billion loan and $250 million of revolving credit. However, credit has dried up quick in the wake of the sub-prime meltdown, and the companies have announced that the sizes of the loan and the credit line were cut to $650 million and $100 million, respectively. Ouch."
