Quick look--those look interesting; that was way before I found your thread so I hadn't seen them. Will take time later to check them out. I tried to process a small amount of acorns a few years ago just for the hell of it. They are a bad replacement for croissants, LOL. SG

Thanks for posting those again...I remember when you first put them up, they have a lot of useful information. It's hard to believe we are now two years down the road. Have we made enough progress in our preparation? I don't know. Sometimes I feel like we have, other times I feel like we are spinning our wheels or standing still. I've concluded that it may be impossible to fully prepare while living in the everyday world. We may have to break our ties with the world we know in order to prepare to move into the world we believe is coming. That takes a lot of courage and commitment. President Giuliani may move my family into making that commitment. The following links are to the story of FerFal. He is a Argentinian student, about 30, studying to be an architect. His country went through a social and economic collapse in 2001. FerFal (a pseudonym) writes well in his second language about the impact the collapse had on his country and the people.
