Todd's got it more together than anybody I know. Has his subdivision together, too. I'm nowhere near there, especially in terms of fallback. If the grid goes down and I don't have batteries, I'll sleep a lot. Wood gassification? Not even a wet dream for me. No gas and no alternative? I'll walk to town..only 7 miles. I can use a backpack. Need to get food to market? Pull out my truck engine, hook up the horses next door. I need to talk with him, about the why of his planning. They have no kids; he is close to 70, Ginny probably close. Why not just give up?
