It's not really worth the trouble of discussing this with you so I'm just going to put you and the other guy on ignore and that will be the end of it, okay?

Drug companies make their money by having drugs that people can be on for the rest of their lives. Like hormone replacement therapy for women (oopps causes cancer). So along come great cash cows like antidepressant therapy. The problem isn't that they don't work they are being prescribed for things other than depression. The drug company's dirty secret is that they are highly physically addictive so it's very difficult to go off. So if a patient goes off and feels like crap the doctor will tell them they are still depressed and to go back on the anti-depressive. Read any of the depression forums--they are most informative. Most of them cause weight gain (maybe initial wt loss but after awhile weight gain).

EVERYBODY is on this stuff--you have to wonder --if this is supposed to be such a great nation why does everyone need an anti-depressive to live here?
