And clubs that keep adding new expenses, both increases in the old types of spending and whole new ways to spend money, thinking they can just raise fees whenever they want to, are also likely to go out of business. No, they add features and benefits that the membership feels are worth the additional dues (taxes). The essence of Democracy. Federal spending goes far beyond anything that can reasonable be considered infrastructure and maintenance. And so does private club spending.
