My belief is that if he runs he will have profound differences with both parties that force him to self fund a race for pres or as a veep on someones indy ticket. One of the things that came to mind is what used to happen frequently in NY politics. A third party like the liberals or conservatives would run one of the major party candidates as their own to enable folks on the extremes of the two parties to vote for one of them but not the party. Obama-bloomberg meeting might have discussed this. In this scenario, bloomie could run for veep either on both tickets or more likely just his new party but he would be able to spend a ton of money to attract indys and moderate republicans who you guys are throwing out of the big tent.
