US, USSR, Israel all different. In all of the above bad men may have ruled or tried to rule but in none did you have a backward messianic religious movement hanging out at the edges of power that would use nukes to push their agenda. If there is a christian group that cant wait for armeggadon, i would worry that they might try to start the fire. With the islamists, its clear they are after this and the only question is whether they can be deterred by nuclear destruction from the US. With iran i answered this question with a NO. With al quaeda i answer it I DONT KNOW. What do you think?
