Spot the troublemaker: Pakistan crisis is no less than stopping the gas pipeline between Iran and India by other means.

siliconinvestor.com.

There's no way Pakistan will be stable. Unless it clearly states:

No Iranian Gas will cross its borders towards India.

And a few hours after the bomb that killed Benzir, Al Qaeda took responsibility!!!!

Oh, what's that here? A trouble spot as neighbor? this is good to sell weapons.

Subprime evil: Citi may write down $18.7B, Goldman analysts say

Citi has about $55 billion in exposure to subprime mortgages, about $43 billion of which are collateralized debt obligations, or CDOs, that have mortgages underlying them.

Citigroup should raise at least $30 billion in additional capital and sell at least $100 billion in assets.

TJ, the apparent conflict in your ideology is because you do not intend universality. The freedom of travel is for you and yours. The shooting in the back is for others. You didn't even want a passport to interfere with your movement.

You people should make up your minds and not talk out of both sides of your mouth. Perhaps if your left hand holds your right hand, they would develop a coherent ideology.

As to CB, it did seem that your accusation of "prime evil" didn't refer to "trust" any more than Osama, Al Qaeda and Islamic Jihad are attacking the USA because "they hate our freedom". There are many countries with "freedom" [a false claim for the USA or any other country to make though some are less repressive and thieving than others] but they do not attract the ire of Osama.

I suspect more of the anger is because Saudi Arabia, the bin Ladens, the Bushes and others are "friends" sharing in oil cash flow and Osama is not [or only tangentially so - I'm sure he must be slipped plenty of cash flow to keep Jihad on track].

Trust and freedom are nice.
