i did the same thing.. i was so good at being lowest paid employee at oil company it took me three years to get promoted from group 1. no one else would take the job! g i got four replacements from outside the company and all quit before i found another recent h.s. grad eager for a job. he also worked his way up to a manager in the company. there is plenty of room for someone without skills to advance in this country if they are willing to work and learn and perhaps relocate out of a depressed area.
