In Missouri, that would be that. In Canada, Europe (and probably Massachusetts) you would be arrested!

IT wouldn't matter to me, if I owned a gun and knew how to use it...I'd shoot if someone entered my car, or house..

Then there's this. This guy was out of control walking around on a busy freeway, did not respond to the police, did not react to a Taser and then attacked the cop and tried to choke him.

So what does the guy's dad do? Of course he wants to sue the State Police for excessive force.

"We don't understand if he needed to be shot, why couldn't he be shot in the leg or one shot?" wondered Bojorguez-Larson. "Why did it have to be multiple shots? That was unnecessary. We're just trying to find out what and why."

People watch too much TV. They only shoot someone in the leg on TV shows. If the guy was violent and going after the cop, he was in danger of being shot, and if a cop draws his gun and uses it, he will shoot to kill.
