Compared to what? The recession when he came into office? The freaked-out economy after 9/11? Somehow he still seems to waste money faster than he can collect it.

The is also the AMT problem combined with inflation and an excessivly loose monetary policy that have added to the coffers.

and whatch out, somebody will suggest reductions in aid to israel and a withdrawal from iraq as meaningful ways to reduce the deficit.
