This is ironic and ipso facto proof of global warming: <The Observatory is situated in 20 acres of land on a drumlin to the North East of Armagh town centre >

A drumlin is a pile of rocks left by a retreating glacier.

It is obviously a LOT better in Armagh than before the global warming.

The Armagh temperature station is obviously affected by the buildings and roads in Armagh so of course maximum temperatures have increased over the decades as construction continued. Black roads and dark building are good absorbers of light and a gentle breeze will carry that extra heat to the thermometer.
