Of course they will talk Emergency Stay and Appeal. The tainted verdict shouldn't have been allowed to stand after the "wilful infringement" instruction was found to be erroneous. The prejudice was obvious, and a New Trial should have been granted. Also, there is a major issue of irreparable harm, given the paralytic inability to advertise, seek new business, etc., and the more stringent test for granting injunctions.
Another PR coup goes to Broadcom, who has no 3G IPR of note, and who has no intention of commercially resolving this mess. They are out to decimate Qualcomm, and appear well on their way to that objective.Unfortunately for them, with Qualcomm's vastly superior cellular IPR, Broadcom is committing mobile suicide in the process.
