You don't have to. :)

You have been the most helpful. I have cleared some of my previous misconceptions and have realized at least couple things that I did not realize before. For example, the fact that using Quicken's IRR for investment with a linked cash acount will show better performance than a mutual fund with cash stored internally would achieve.

In the end, like someone said on the other thread, what really matters is how much money you have after investing. The percentages are fine for boasting or trying to compare yourself to SP500 or Buffett, but unless one is an audited fund manager they are not that important. One just has to remember that they don't necessarily mean what one thinks they mean. ;)
