I just hate it when someone new moves in and starts telling everyone else how to behave. Had that happen here in our little neighborhood back in the '80s. We had a huge influx of people moving in from all over who decided they wanted things done in certain (their) ways...........roads opened, traffic patterns changed, mail delivery, garbage pickup, crosswalks, traffic signals, schools, where cops should patrol most heavily, parks etc., and were going to show us hicks a thing or two, so started making all kinds of noise. What they didn't realize is that we were just as savvy as they were and had been doing our due diligence and had already set up committees, and fighting our battles..........and winning them......with the county for a long time, and really liked the way things were. They tried and failed and have been bitter ever since. Many have moved on............thankfully.
