Nothing stops a break in quicker then the sound of a 12ga pump being slammed home in readiness to fire.

That just happened to some church friends. Last fall they moved into a new, exclusive area of expensive homes. Early in December, apparently in broad daylight while they were away, the house was broken into. Everything in the way of jewelry was taken as well as a small amount of cash found in a drawer. The house was apparently left a total mess. No one saw anything unusual, if you can imagine.

That's one thing I like about the town home complex I live in. It has lots of eyes. Still, if the thief is clever enough, a break in around here would probably not be too difficult.

Someone broke into my house in Spartanburg and stole all my good jewelry. The cops said, we'll never find it, it's probably already broken down and sold for the pieces..sounds like a stolen car, doesn't it?
