To: Dave Feldman who wrote (110374 ) 1/4/2008 3:35:47 AM From: Skeeter Bug Respond to of 132070 Dave, i've not tried the shoes. my game plan is to try the shoes on in person and get a feel for what size fits the best and then order some of the discontinued ones. i think they are $150 a pop instead of $250 if you buy them at full retail. diet may well play an important part in your osteoarthritis.drsears.com drsears.com drsears.com drsears.com my wife *hates* in when she complains about maladies x, y and z and i tell her how the zone diet has a very positive impact on them. but it does. so that makes me the idiot that keeps sharing the good news - even if people don't want to hear it. i think most folks have just quit trying to improve their lot in life with the trade-off being they don't have to feel responsible for their condition. i speak generally, because i have no idea whether you have control over your particular form of osteoarthritis or not. genetics can be a b* even if one's diet is perfect. having said that, if you haven't tried an anti-inflammatory diet, you'll never know if your genetic code can be expressed differently through the use of one of the most powerful drugs out there - food. thousands of people have had incredible success via the zone approach to eating. yes, some people complain, but almost all of those speak without actual experience with it. iow, as dara torres was winning 5 olympic medals as a 33 year old swimmer (absolutely unheard of prior to her doing it!) using the zone diet as her nutritional foundation, others were saying the diet was impossible to follow. 7 years later, dara is busy using the zone to set an american 50m free swim record at the age of 40* while those same zone critics 1. still haven't tried the zone and 2. still say it won't work. *yes, dara is currently giving blood samples every two weeks to prove she is not using performance enhancing drugs because there are a number of people who claim what she has done is impossible without performance enhancing drugs. i don't want to be a nag, rather, i do want to point people in the direction of something that has a high probability of elevating their level of health and reducing the stress on their body.
