Someone has to eat them. If I could keep the darned aphids off of them I'd grow them. Ed Hume said there are some natural pesticides we can use to keep them free of bugs. Might look in to that next summer.

I've also recently gotten in to cooking cabbage in different ways. My favorite is chopped and stir fried in butter with onion, salt and pepper and a pinch of caraway. You have to steam it a bit to get it to soften up.
