Ugly indeed. My main hope for 2008 are the 45nm CPUs for the fast growing notebook market. If INTC gets this right AMD will be confined to the lowest of the low budget part of this business.

Let's see if there is closure on the EU issue on Monday and how it may or may not impact INTC. The EU uncertainty is aggravating the current perceived woes.

I added to my position on Friday at $23.30 but held back on adding more at the close just in case the EU decision is something more than innocuous.

INTC's price of $22.60 is inconsistent with a $0.40 Q4 and reasonable guidance. Perhaps reconciliation is achieved by an absurdly negative perception of Monday's EU decision.
