Thanks for the link...<g>

Okay, let's say for the moment that what is reported is all factual, true, and accurate... just look at all the flap and heavy negative publicity he's now getting because of a mere 500 bucks when he can raise millions elsewhere without raising an eyebrow about his character and true political views... was it worth it? He would have gotten much better mileage out of this whole thing if he did the right thing and give it back upon learning who the donor is, and then also make a public announcement that he will not accept money from those who do not "stand for freedom, peace, prosperity and inalienable rights" as he does... he would have gained the highest respect of those who now quietly point at him and doubt him and who now share whispered words among themselves about what Ron Paul "really" represents...

Okay, so it may have been only 500 dollars, this make his case even worse... he'll sell his political high road for chump change just to get his high minded message out, but what is his message now telling us? If he can raise millions without causing doubt, then why would he show such poor judgement now by accepting a few bucks from a racist group and then not take political advantage of the opportunity by refusing it? Where does he draw the line? Would he accept money from bin laden just so he can spread the message of "freedom, peace, prosperity and inalienable rights?"

It's a slippery slope and he demonstrated very poor judgement here...
