We can talk about this as long as you want. We are 50 equal states. Because one state has a huge population and one state has little, that doesn't mean that the less populated state should have it's votes ignored either. By using the electoral college, states are equally weighted in election results. CA has alot more than WY, so they do a get a larger proportion of votes to accomodate for their increased population. But it ain't 37 million to 500,000 difference.
