But what IS doing slow-poison to Microsoft is the PC vendors' penchant for adding all kinds of crapware to a new computer installation. When one turns on a new computer, it looks like one's landed in Vegas. Flashing lights, dancing arrows, invitation to spend your money or add your demographics to this or that -- all that is left out is sex and drugs. Wait, wait, it's available on the net. And more, much much more. Don't even ask me about the www!
