I have mentioned Roero Arneis wines before Last night I opened this (cost $24) Bruno Giacosa Roero Arneis 2007 winemaker's notes: Giacosa's Arneis offers subtle, elegant aromas of apples, pears and peaches. This is a very refreshing white recommended with a wide variety of foods, including antipasti and pasta dishes. <"Bruno Giacosa’s Arneis is a knockout in 2007. This beautiful white reveals gorgeous inner sweetness in its ripe apricots, peaches and flowers. Although the wine did not undergo malolactic fermentation, it comes across as lush and full-bodied, with suggestions of botrytis that linger on the finish." I have tried the same wine from 2005 and 2006 and they wer both great it seems like the 2007 might be about sold out, but I would not hesitate to buy the 2008.
