LOL, what a dumbass post. Promiscuity is nothing healthy you dumbass. Nobody is saying that. Conservatives on the other hand are saying that teaching abstention will stop sexual activity of teens. We all know that's a crock. Instead of handing out condoms that would save an unwanted STD or pregnancy, they stick their heads up their butts and honestly believe that pounding the bible over peoples heads and preaching abstention will fix the problem. In my day, I had relationships and the "easiest" girls were the ones that were spiritual. The reality is that people will have sex regardless of what the "righteous" attempt to teach. It's the Church that in their "morality" that discourages the use of birth control (pills, condoms or otherwise) are the ones that are doing the most damage to the poor, through unwanted pregnancy, AIDS, etc., etc..

The rightwing is not really for family values. It's mainly just talk. In truth, many rightwingers are repressed homosexuals, porno addicts, whore-mongers, wife-beaters, child-abusers, gamblers, drinkers, meth-snorters and pill addicts. Plus look at how your bunch behaved at Abu Graib? Limbaugh said that was a bunch of frat pranks. Maybe in the frat he'd like to be in. You people have no right to point your hypocritical fingers at anyone else. There are just as many fine together families who are progressive, if not more. You just believe that BS propaganda from the Limbaugh types falsely demonizing "liberals". Meanwhile Rush flies off to the Dominican Republic for his sex life, a place known for underaged hookers of both sexes. And who knows what sex Coulter is, probably into S+M. My rightwing Born Again cousins have a terrible marriage and their kids are all screwed up. Yes, they stayed together, but what a disaster. And look at your most "conservative" GOP candidates, on their third wives, living with gay men, dressing up in drag, Fred Thompson's hot young babe wife, then look at the perverts and crooks in the religious right hierarchy. Reverend Haggard used to preach family values all the time. Jim Bakker was a closet case bisexual and he did too. SO did Jimmy SWaggart with his hooker addiction. That was their speciality, pointing fingers at others to make up for their own inner guilt and shame. Family values my ass. And talk about poor family values being against universal health care, better education and the financial security of our middleclass.

LIAR. Abstinence education pupils report higher numbers of STD's and unwanted pregnancies than kids who get a normal healthy scientific sex education complete with information about birth control and how to AVOID getting STD's and pregnant. The big lie of the religious right, which we WASTE 200 million per year of our tax money on, is that by keeping kids afraid and ignorant of sex, we will stop the need for abortions or any STD's. WRONG! The fact is it is normal and healthy for young people to want to have sex, and almost all of them finally will, whether Reverend Haggard types want them to or not, and when they do if they don't know how to use a condom, they're in trouble. Abstinence Only educators lie to kids about condoms and say they don't work. Actually condoms do work, 99.9% of the time. And the only time they don't work is when they're used incorrectly and come off, or if they are torn or damaged.
