Obama can beat McCain BUT I'm quite sure Hillary would have big trouble (she has sky high negatives and she will help unite the GOP base to aggressively campaign against her)...Obama has more cross-over potential than any other candidate and that's one reason some of the smart GOP strategists are worried about running against him.

re: "" It's also possible that the Clinton-Obama fray may turn off voters""

And turn them on to NEW candidates.. If that spat is for real..

Yes, that is true with one woman or maybe two that I spoke with today.. And I wil agree.. Except I am ALREADY turned off by Clinton, but it didn't help me with Obama.. Besides at a discussion yesterday, (a lively one I might add) I have come to the conclusion that Edwards' plan on Iraq and health care is ahead of Obamas although FAR from perfect in my mind..

These people I talked to couldn't understand why either would start throwing mud over such an issue at this stage of the game... And give the Repubs more grist for their mill.. Too big of egos on either side maybe, I don't know... But maybe something else..

Besides, nobody has EVER gave me an explanation or satisfactory answer of where Obama got all his initial seed money, 25 MIL, (a big or bad seed or both) coming out of nowhere and becoming a front runner, like in fact, Bill Clinton, himself, in 92, again coming out of nowhere, as a front runner

Like the King Makers anointed a new prince or king in waiting..

Think folks and connect the dots and follow the money, if one can.. It's tough for they cover their money tracks well, but at least try..

At least with Edwards, imo, as they try to push him aside, we can at least THINK, where he got his money.. :) I don't know though, I will NEVER know when it comes to politics for:

Politics is a TOUGH participant sport and NOT a spectator sport.. Like so many in this country think it is and that's why we are in the mess we are.. But they will never know and things will never change, unless MORE quit whining NOW on the internet and actually get down there and play and see what is really happening.
