Poor old dufus. The sun is always shining on the globe. In fact, it is always shining on half the globe, consequently the globe's temperature neither rises nor falls during any 24 hour period. Saying the sun rises on the globe is like assuming the globe is in fact a pancake, i.e. a flat earth POV. Some other prominent AGW deniers (Frenchmen) made the same sort of error in their calculations "disproving" AGW. So you are in good company.
