@Bob - Products
"
Just what does that mean? Are they sampling all those things? Are they all in low-volume production and not listed as products yet? Just what's going on?
"

I don't Spansions behaviour, but if AMD is a guideline as one
example, there are products out, which aren't official on
the homepage. I guess the same could be said for SPSN too. So,
yes, I assume they are shipping stuff, which we don't see.

Bobs, iirc that slide shows sampling dates. Spansion never discloses full data of samples. Still I haven't heard of Eclipse sampling. I expect analysts to question the status of the product during the earnings CC. It takes about 6 months from sampling to production start, then 3 months to volume availability (even though wafer in to wafer out only takes about half that latter time).

Spansion is expecting unprecedented penetration of 65nm because of the range of products introed at 65nm is bigger than ever before, plus the 65nm volume ramp (300mm new fab + fab 25 + fab25) is way faster than they ever did previously. So 65nm products will penetrate the market faster than all volume from all previous nodes.

Rink.
