No. I think reparations are the signature issue of the segment of the black community that still has a chip on its shoulder.

Here are my thoughts. The Hillary generation, which includes Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson, all have chips on their shoulders. They grew up in an era when racism was fading but was still alive in many ways. The generation that came after saw almost nothing of that. So I believe Hillary, Sharpton, and Jackson, and their age group all are racists in both directions. Hillary is a well-meaning racist and Sharpton and Jackson are racists against whites and carry a large chip on their shoulder wanting reparations and all that shit.

This is why I like Obama. He rises above all that shit. He's just a good guy with a fantastic message and a fervor for change, but he also happens to be black. Obama is EXACTLY what this country needs in so many ways. He unites whites and blacks and Dem and Reps. Many Reps have been voting for Obama and will vote for him in the Presidential election. That's what the stats show and it's certainly true for me. I'm still a registered Republican, but I'll vote for Obama in the primary and in the Presidential election if he gets that far.

There you have it.
