WM went up 7.6% since I bought it this morning. That's not to say it might not still go bankrupt. It just looked really cheap at 12, having been 45 not too long ago. WM is well regarded among the less well off, has thousands of branches and won't die in my estimation. Analysts are split between "sell" and "hold" - I went with "buy".

WM may have further to fall.....most believe it hasn't disclosed all its subprime crap yet. I think there are only two things that will move the stock up right now.......

I'm thinking long term, not a trade. Buy a bunch and stick it away out of site. If they survive then in 10 years it will probably be trading at $30+ and be paying a 4% dividend, which would be a 12% yearly return on your invested dollars.
