Yes, but faith "with proof" is no longer faith.

Being "hard wired for logic" should not preclude one from being capable of faith. It would be most illogical to *believe* that the Universe cannot possibly contain any mysteries which may be great and unknowable to human logic. To think this way is in itself a leap of faith... :-)
