It's amazing to see how the Hillary/Bill repetition of "Obama loved Reagan's policies" has actually taken root with so many people despite the fact that those words were NEVER uttered at all.

The power of a smear.

<<<The entire episode is just another reminder of why Obama will beat the crap out of whatever Republican candidate he is up against while Hillary actually gives the party a chance (particularly McCain). >>>

IMO both Obama and Hillary are preferable to anybody the Republicans will put up but with Hillary I am more certain about the future than with Obama.

Obama is a roll of the dice. How do we know that he can translate his vision into reality. It is one thing to have a dream but it is something else to turn a dream into reality. I am not trying to minimize the importance of the dream and aspect of Barack's character, but the two things require totally different skill sets.

We know pretty much what we are getting with Hillary. We will be getting a continuation of the Bill Clinton economic policy and direction (with some adjustments due to changing circumstances). We know she is not going to let us down in another Katrina type incident. She will be more than sufficietly competent. We know she will take us on an orderly resolution in Iraq.

After she cleans up this mess, we can let Barak take us soaring into possibly a glorious future. Right now though, we need somebody to clean up the mess.

You may not like her, just like you may not have liked your mom or teacher for nagging at you to do all the things you needed to do, but you just know she is not going to fail to clean up this mess.
