meanwhile...Muslims are Governed by Their Own Rules, Which are Different...

Marriage registration not Islamic, says Muslim board

January 24, 2008

Opposing the recent Supreme Court order making marriage registration certificates mandatory...

the New All-India Muslim Personal Law Board on Wednesday said the community would not accept the directive,

.......as it was an infringement of the Muslim personal law.......

Mohammed Hashmi Kanpuri, a member of the board, stated that each and every Muslim was bound with Shariat laws...

"Any marriage in Islam is certified by three people including a Kazi, and there is no need for any other certification,"

..."Muslims are governed by their own rules which are different from the rules of other communities"...

That would be for the state of the economy

Which isn't all that bad, and they hated the Republicans even when the economy was doing well.

failure to give the pursuit of Osama Bin Laden the effort almost every American believes it deserves (choosing to pursue Saddam Hussein instead)

a fantasy of some on the left, not a statement that adequatly reflect reality.

failing to capture or kill OBL

Yeah, and if they did the Dems would stop hating right?

the state of the nation's healthcare and education

With education being primarily a local and state responsibility (and with Bush massively increasing federal spending on education), while healthcare, in addition to overall being better than in the past, is less than what it could be largely because of political decisions mostly made by Democrats

and the totally inept mismanagement of the war in Iraq

to the extent it was inept (and it really was not more so than most other wars), now that its being handled better are you going to drop the hate?? I doubt it.

"Leftwingers seem to hate Republicans without knowing why."

Ok you gave me the laundry list of imagined insult that the major liberal media outlets have been pushing. The economy has recovered quite nicely from the Clinton recession. President Bush came a lot closer to OBL than his predecessor did; so I assume you hate Clinton for not taking from Sudan when he could. Healthcare in America is better than anywhere in the world, so I take you complaint as a statement that nothing will ever satisfy you. Management of the liberation of Iraq was weak and the General who screwed it up is now a talking head on liberal media, the flytrap policy has killed or captured major AQ terrorists and the surge is working well.

So basically the message your post delivers is that you believe whatever the liberally biased media publishes without question and disbelieve everything that contradicts their spin.

"Rightwingers hate Dems simply for holding contrary opinions."

Name one that actually fit this description. You can't do it.

"I don't know how many times I've been accused of being a traitor, simply for not agreeing with views that are held by many people on the right."

You don't understand that it is not for disagreeing, but for promoting the causes of our enemies.

"I'd say the nonthinkers are more in the Right camp than in the left."

I am sure you feel that way. The evidence is that liberalism is an emotional state and conservatism is arrived at rationally.
