Petz, I'm wondering if the author is entirely factual. re: By way of proof they can point to strong growth of mobile DRAM sales and to Samsung's OneNAND NOR emulator taking a 13% share of the NOR market in 2006, just its first year. Samsung is making a good bit of plain vanilla floating gate NOR as well (separate product line from the OneNAND flavors, up to 256Mb/chip iirc). I haven't looked it up but suggest that is part of the same pice of pie. The NOR market after all is simply made up of all NVM chips with an NOR I/F. I don't believe info is available as to how much market share OneNAND has; at least I haven't wrapped my brain around any such facts. Regards, Rink
