The (R)'s have a really weak field this time. That's why we've had so many "front runners". If they settle for McCain, serial loser, mistrusted by (R) conservatives, it's all over for them.

To me, McCain just looks really OLD. He looks like he doesn't have the energy for a campaign. Expect a lot more gaffs.

>I am telling you.....if the Dems go with Clinton, they will lose the presidency come November.

Nope. McCain is in an exceptional period... if you'd done that polling last summer before McCain's campaign went in the shitter, he'd get his ass kicked by Clinton. If he's the nominee this coming summer, the polls will show her kicking his ass. In between, after his campaign ran out of money between July and the NH primaries, his negatives went way down because no one was bothering to attack him.

After he spends some time as the frontrunner (if it ain't Mitt) and the Bush hugging photos, "Bomb Bomb Bomb Iran," and his idiotic comments about not knowing much about economics become ubiquitous, that changes big time. And public opinion of Hillary isn't going anywhere in either direction. She'll be fine against him if it comes to that.

Its only been a few days since you made this post and McCain is looking stronger than ever and Hillary......well, its not fun being Hillary right now. During the past year, this primary season has had many twists and turn so no one can possibly predict how its going to turn out. That's why I go by what is happening today. And today tells me that against McCain, Obama is the stronger candidate. And I have a feeling, inspite of what you say, public opinion of Hillary is taking a slow turn south.
