All I really can CLEARLY see from this article is a media determined to inject race and gender into this race. I would expect this from Buchanan who is a republican, even though I agree with you that Pat is often on target with many issues.

Actually, the most interesting thing to me in this article is this:

Well, not exactly, ma'am

I wonder if Pat Buchanan would substitute the word "boy" for "ma'am" in the same sentence if referring to Barack Obama.

There is so much sexism at work in this campaign.....subtle though it may be.

The way Pat used the word 'sweetly'....grrrrrrr.....this one hits me the wrong way a little, too.

Yeah, I don't buy the idea that people are only just figuring out that Obama is black. And I also don't buy the idea that white Americans won't vote for a black man for President. Some of them might now, but not enough to make the difference.

If I'm wrong, then that's just too bad for us.

I believe the Clinton's underhanded tactics will end up costing them more votes than they will gain. Again, if I'm wrong, then Obama won't be the only one who loses.
