What did Al Qaeda have to do with Iraq? Al Qaeda hated Saddam Hussien and would have preferred to see his over throw. Our war in Iraq is another example of how Bush played into OBL's hands. Honestly, OBL and Al Qaeda were friends with the folks in PAKISTAN, Saudi Arabia and Afghanistan, not with anyone in Iraq. Name one major Iraqi government official that had ties with Al Qaeda. You can't, though we can name dozens, if not hundreds of officials and organization in Saudia Arabia that had strong links with OBL and Al Qaeda. Oh, weren't most the 9/11 attackers Saudis, not Iraqi? Go figure, huh.
