I think the meaning is that many people tend to vote for people they imagine, perhaps on a subconscious level, they can identify with. It is the "he's one of us" feeling. I don't think there is anything new about it. One of the last things in a candidate I'd look for is his ability to be able to relate to me on a personal level. The guy is running for President not party host....... I'll make a prediction. If McCain wins the WH we're hardly going to even notice the change in administration...... Welcome to a rerun of the last 4 years, followed by Democrat that's a radical socialist.......... Welcome to the United States of the Peoples Working Party of America.........
