And torque also uses lbs in it's unit of measure.

I have no problem with lbs being IN the unit of measure. I have a problem with torque being measured in lbs. It is measured in lb-ft or lb-inches, etc.

Note that I would expect you to understand the difference. Just like I would not expect you to have a prayer of understanding why CO2 can heat the atmosphere.
