So why didn't the Republican controlled Congress reduce spending - Because about 90% of the budget is either entitlement spending and defense spending so where do the cuts come from?

Yeah Bush cut taxes but it's the congress who spends the money. What a pathetically lame excuse. Bush proposed the budget and Bush signed the budget. It has his name all over it, for good reason. He signed every piece of pork the Republican congress sent him, never vetoed a thing.

Revenue didn't grow under Bush, it went down for 3 straight years. That hasn't happened since the GD. It took until 2005 for revenue to get back to where it was in 2000.

If you don't have the balls to cut spending, don't cut taxes. It's immoral. Republicans need to learn to pay their bills, to stop blaming other people and making excuses for their own thievery and fiscal incompetence...
