It's an Existential thing. Appropriate for the contest.

No, I think you've brought in some personal interest of your own that has close to zero to do with the Picks contest.

The precise rules of the game are only alluded to, and are so sophisticated that they are not easy to imagine.

Our contest rules are explained clearly in Swedish English in the header.

Suffice it to say that playing the Game well requires years of hard study of music, mathematics, and cultural history.

Playing the Picks game well requires that you pick stocks that go up more (or down less) than the stocks that the other players pick. Nothing to do with music, math or history.

Essentially the game is an abstract synthesis of all arts and scholarship.

Our game is either a variation on darts, or an abstract synthesis of well thought out darts, but no one gets a scholarship.

Sorry - no connection to glass beads exists here.....

Elroy doesn't like esoteric stuff. He prefers clear language and crisp rules.

Pat, Abu Dahbi may not exactly be the core pot of Western Civilisation.

OK?
