If you project an economic downturn, than your going to project deficits going up. OTOH I agree the stimulus plan contributes to the increase in the deficit (and I'm against the plan).

Subtract the prepayments of tax attributable to the Roth IRA conversions and Clinton's surpluses turn in deficits. That is the gift that will haunt tax receipts for decades to come.

I do get tired of having to correct mindless people reposting partisan propaganda.
