Perhaps the situation is not so bad. Keeping the debt flat while fighting a war is not so bad.

Seems quite logical that McCain is committed to make permanent those huge tax cuts to the very wealthy and the budget deficit will likely grow.

He will unlikely cut defense spending. In fact it is likely to go up.

I wonder how much we spend on food stamps?
