That's a very good point. You're right. But since the new pres will want those powers, none of them will probably campaign against it. As you say, it's hard to give up power, and our executive just gets more and more powerful.

I don't want any president, Dem or GOP, to continue down that path.

You know how hard it is for pols to give up powers, newly won.

My fear as well, particularly the "signing" nonsense.
