Since '88 apart from Clinton (who was pummeled to the ground and bounced back), the Dems have run fairly clumsy, wooden dorks who didn't know where to turn when someone started beating up on them. The only good thing about what Obama dealt with in South Carolina is that he has already started crafting a message for off-topic gratuitous slurs. His resounding victory there says something about the effectiveness of his response. The policy differences between Hillary and Obama going forward are so minimal that I bet it will come to style and personal preference in the end.
