<<And I think if/when the sliming of Barack occurs, it will be imperative that Dems stand up and stand together like never before.>>Kate

It will be interesting to see what happens here. The Obama supporters are mostly sitting on their hands when it comes to the attacks on hrc, even when they are raised to an absurd level. I wouldn't be surprised if many of hrc's supporters do the same thing when the attacks on Obama come from the right.

I find this vision thing interesting. If he really had vision and the ethics that everybody ascribes to him, Obama would say something about this piling on. But he won't because he benefits and in reality, it is politics as usual. And I don't buy right from day 1 stuff that is making the rounds. People seem to forget that he did vote for the war funding. If the war was so wrong and he knew it from an early point in time, why did he vote for the funding early in his senatorial career? Where was that vision thing then? Only later on, when it became politically expedient to do so, did he vote against the war, as did hrc. Bill Clinton tried to point this out and he became the bogeyman.

It would be nice if the press took the blinders off here. I want someone nominated on the dem side that has been through the wars to get nominated. I want them asked the tough questions now so that we don't hear about things right before November. I don't want this vision thing to nominate a candidate only to find out that there are significant flaws in the armor and then have a republican in the white house for another 4 years. If that happens, the supreme court will be the conservative toast of the town for years to come.

It could all start with one question for Obama. Why did you speak out against the war and then vote to fund it? Same question that BC asked but everybody wants to ridicule him and paint him as a traitor rather than listen to what his political instincts are saying.

Hillary has her flaws as well but the media turns even the smallest thing into the biggest deal that I don't feel that I have to mention them. Are there so few people here who see the potential for big problems if we don't get a fair assessment of Obama?

Neal

It may all come down to the media again. And how much they latch onto and spin the slimy stories.

And we all know who owns the major consolidated MSM.

I see an epic slime storm on the horizon, and the only question is whether its name is Racism or Misogyny.
